The popularity of Delheim Wine Estate’s mushroom foraging forays on the Simonsberg Mountain in Stellenbosch has resulted in the event this year being held over two week-ends, allowing more visitors to enjoy a day of collecting their own mushrooms, followed by a true taste of Delheim hospitality with refreshments, food and a selection of the estate’s award-winning wines. Delheim’s mountain pine forests are home to over 20 species of wild mushrooms, and guests are invited to come and search for and collect them.
