Le Grande Domaine Enoteca
Le Grande Domaine Enoteca is the new chic and vibey brand home of Le Grand Domaine Wines. An elegant and welcoming ambience adorned with beautifully crafted joinery, accentuated copper finishes, leather and solid wooden chairs and tables creating comfortable seating spaces inside and, for an al fresco experience, on the pavement outside. The Enoteca is a combination of a wine emporium, wine bar, wine tasting venue and bistro.

Bartinney Wine & Champange Bar
Sip on sustainably produced, small-lot wines at this buzzing bar in central Stellenbosch. Enjoy wine friendly, seasonal nibbles and sharing plates at the bar, settle in on comfortable reclaimed armchairs, sit out on the terrace, or join wine-lovers spilling out onto Bird Street glass in hand.
Both the flagship Bartinney and the mischievous Noble Savage wines are available for purchase. Celebrate with some Brut Savagé Méthode Cap Classique, or French Champagne, with a selection of meat and cheese boards, and wine-friendly snacks to accompany the wines.

Brampton Wine Studio
The Brampton Wine Studio sits in the heart of Stellenbosch’s vibey town village. At this unique urban winery, you can taste and buy Brampton’s award-winning range, nibble on delectable tapas or famous flatbreads, and sip some refreshing in-house beer on tap. It’s a place that is always buzzing with creativity and fun!

Spek en Bone
Spek & Bone is located at a historic site next to the original Stellenbosch market, behind Oom Samie se winkel. This small plates eatery and wine bar is a real hidden gem, tucked away just off Dorp Street. The name is inspired by Bertus’ and his wife, Mareli’s, pets. “The restaurant is named after our pig and our puppy, Spek and Bone, who are (surprisingly) best friends and truly inseparable”, explains Bertus. The pets were named after the classic food combination of pork and beans. The authentic simplicity of the restaurant can be summed up in the Afrikaans saying ‘Om vir spek en boontjies te werk’ meaning to work for ordinary food, not for money.
Guests are invited to join them under the oldest fruit-producing vine in Stellenbosch (how fitting!) and for a curated tapas menu with big, bold flavours, best shared with friends and paired with specially selected South African wines. For a more intimate celebration, email them to reserve the lush private conservatory, which seats maximum of 8 people. The Bassons find great joy in fantastic food, great wine and an incredible playlist, and you’ll find all of these at Spek & Bone.
