It’s hard to find fault with Stellenbosch: sweeping vineyards, majestic mountains, award-winning wines, and a fantastic ‘village’ feel that beckons you back again and again! Javaphiles (that’s coffee lovers to you and me) are also spoilt for choice, as coffee culture in Stellenbosch is thriving!
The coffee culture amongst our beloved Maties is especially booming. If they’re not out wine bar hopping or studying for exams, they are seeking out the next best coffee spot. And that is exactly what the girls behind the Procaffeinated IG account are doing. We had a chat with the girls behind the IG page and asked them for their and their fellow Maties’ top 5 coffee run spots in Stellenbosch and these are their top choices.
From their locally sourced coffee & freshly baked pastries to their carefully curated menu offering an array of authentic heart warming meals, Meraki aim to serve you with the same love and passion that originally inspired their name.

Bootlegger Coffee Company was created in 2012 by 3 best friends. The brand has now grown into multiple businesses all over Cape Town and Johannesburg, and still expanding. Each store has a carefully selected line from an AC/DC song hung on the wall in neon lights. A lot of the brands attitude and charisma comes from this throwback of great music and rhythm.
Opening times: Monday to Thursday from 6:30am to 5pm. Saturday from 7:30am to 9pm and Sunday from 7:30am to 3pm
Contact: 021 201 7448 or email@example.com
