In recent weeks South Africa has experienced an uproar in protests following the presidential address of Cyril Ramaphosa under Alert level 3 lockdown regulations. Whereby the sale and distribution of alcohol have been prohibited—prompting the loss of jobs and lively hoods nationwide.
Amid many protests, the #JobsSaveLives campaign that took place last week has garnered the most traction as tens of thousands of South Africans have banned together, in unity, with the intent of saving livelihoods throughout the country.
Unfortunately, many in our Stellenbosch community are feeling these hits to the fullest extent.
In light of the situation, we as Stellenbosch, a proud community, are hoping to do our part by supporting our local producers as we step outside and pack the ultimate picnic basket. In an attempt to make a day of it, unwind, and show love to our locals. It’s a win-win for all of us.
