Please join us for a leathercraft and whipmaking workshop at Soetmelksvlei, a delightful new excursion by Babylonstoren.Here, master tanner and whipmaker Klaas van der Wal will guide you through the steps of cleaning, tanning and cutting sheepskin. You will learn to braid leather strips in an introduction to basic whipmaking. After a hands-on morning in the farm air, we’ll enjoy a hearty lunch in the Old Stables Restaurant before heading back to Babylonstoren.
