Japanese florals in the Winelands: A study in ikebana | Babylonstoren

| In this introduction to the ancient Japanese floral art of Ikebana, we show you the Babylonstoren ‘way of flowers’ by combining the Japanese styling method with the abundance of the Babylonstoren garden. The class starts with a walk-through of the garden where participants pick plant material for their flower arrangements. From there, the styling workshop is led by Belinda Soboil, certified teacher from the Ohara-ryū School of Ikebana. Guests will then have the opportunity to create their own arrangements to take home. Steaming coffee from our Lekker Room is served upon arrival. Lunch at the Tasting Room is included R900p.p. |
