The popularity of Delheim Wine Estate’s mushroom foraging forays on the Simonsberg Mountain in Stellenbosch has resulted in the event this year being held over two week-ends, allowing more visitors to enjoy a day of collecting their own mushrooms, followed by a true taste of Delheim hospitality with refreshments, food and a selection of the estate’s award-winning wines. Delheim’s mountain pine forests are home to over 20 species of wild mushrooms, and guests are invited to come and search for and collect them on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th June, as well as 4th and 5th of July.
