For one night only, South African mezzo-soprano Summer Carne returns home from her performances in Berlin to bring her Opera & Wine experience to Lievland. Summer has performed on stages in South Africa and internationally and is known for combining her love of opera and South African wine into an engaging, sensory experience through her boutique A Taste of Opera.

About Summer Carne
Summer Carne is a South African mezzo-soprano and wine specialist based in Berlin. A Stellenbosch University graduate who went on to complete a Master’s in Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin, Summer has performed on stages including Artscape Opera House, Cape Town City Hall and the Endler Concert Hall, as well as internationally. Now based in Berlin, she has also performed for the South African Embassy in Berlin and the German Federal Foreign Office, while developing her unique Opera & Wine concept through A Taste of Opera.
